In-court Scuffle and Blabs

* Have you watched the match between TNT and Purefoods ? I was browsing in one Filipino forum when I saw a topic regarding James Yap kicking a player from TNT. It was a kick-n-run by Yap. LOL He was uber cute when he did that. Everyone involved did a public apology, I guess. No one was suspended, as far as I know.

* GP 506 - Kmovie

AKA
The Guard Post

Summary
When soldiers and officers of GP 506 located somewhere in the vicinity of the DMZ fail to report back to their superiors, officials of the South Korean military began to get worried over the possibility of North Korean commandos since protocol requires ROK military guard posts to report after every half hour. A team of soldiers arrive at GP 506 to investigate the area before the military covers the whole incident up over the possibility of having a public relations mess as the base’s commander is the son of a high-ranking South Korean army officer.

Though they had located two surviving soldiers, one of them being an enlisted soldier and a suspect in the mass murders and the other the said base’s commanding officer, the MP team finds out that a homicidal virus is responsible for the massacre and they later get isolated in the same post due to the raging weather while being infected with the same disease.

Cast
Cho Hyun-jae
Lee Young-hoon

Personal rating: 5 Stars +++ Don’t watch it alone, though. ^.^

* One of my fave Filipino actors is Diether Ocampo. The only thing that he has to improve is his acting, otherwise, he’s gorgeous. LOL

* “TALES FROM THE BOG”

Very interesting topic from one of the issues of “National Geographic.” Mummified human bodies are not new to us but have you seen something well preserved including the skin and organs? Even fingerprints in some bodies are still notable. Another thing about these bog bodies is that they don’t die of natural cause or as heroes. They actually died of brutal deaths. Here are some pictures:

* I had my hair cut. I don’t have my long, heavy, thick hair anymore. I had it cut and sheared. LOL

Crunchyroll: Movies, movies, and more Asian movies

This site is definitely not a secret. Like Veoh it has a long list of Asian dramas and films. I’ve joined this site 2 yrs ago. As far as I could remember, the first drama I’ve watched was in Japanese, entitled “Long Love Letter.” I had problem buffering so I’ve searched for other video streaming sites like Veoh. Since a lot of Asian m/d fanatics have been joining Crunchyroll, they’ve tweaked and improved the site. (Thanks Crunchy!). Now, you have 3 choices, you could watch videos in low quality or Hi-def. It’s really cool!

The films I’ve watched this week from that site were:

“Paano Kita Iibigin” with Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez

“Love Me Not” with Moon Geun Young

“Seducing Mr. Perfect” with Henney Daniel

There’s one more film that I would really recommend for you to watch. It’s a true story from Japan. It’s an award winning film.

“Nobody Knows”

What I usually do before I watch the film is I read the synopsis and the comments on the side bar. Those comments actually gives you a hint if that movie is worth watching, so, you don’t have to waste time. Plus, when you add a comment, you also gain CR points. With accumulated CR points, you are entitled to additional privileges like starting your own thread etc. Anyway, just check out the site. :)

Red Handed!!

Remember the guy I was talking about in my previous post? I thought he wouldn’t read my posts. Apparently, he read them! Darn it! Eh malay ko ba na babasahin niya yung mga nakasulat?! Ang alam ko kasi yung picture lang titignan niya! I’m pretty sure I’ve stated he’s a friend. LOL

LET’S BLAB ABOUT COFFEE

Roasted Mocha Java

Not really my fave but it’s really good  when you’re having BRUNCH (breakfast-lunch). I usually drink it on weekends because it takes some time to prepare. Not the kind of coffee you would want if you have hyper acidity.

Both of these are my fave ‘coz it smells really good when you brew them. My mom doesn’t want them though. I drink them on weekdays ‘coz it only takes 2 minutes to prepare. Hehe

This French Roast is really good with chocolate and frothy cream.

Tid bits info: I’ve read from a health magazine that researches are being conducted regarding the effect of coffee on 2 age groups.

Subjects: 20-30 yrs of age (1st group) and 40-70 yrs of age (2nd group)

Test I: Both groups were asked to drive early in the morning . Result: Both did pretty well.

Test 2: Both groups were asked to drive later in the afternoon. Result: Both still did good.

Test 3: Both groups were asked to drive at night and both, evidently, started to dose off but the 2nd group felt it earlier than the 1st group.

Test 4: Both groups were given a regular coffee. It worked well with the 1st group but the 2nd group still felt like their dosing off.  Test 3 was repeated and they were given decaff and it didn’t work in both groups. Test 3 was repeated and they were asked to take a nap and it worked good for the 1st group.

What I’ve noticed is that older people usually feels tired and sleepy but they don’t usually have a straight hours of sleep. No wonder why coffee and sleeping pills have been their buddies.

My Taste… Our Choice…

It’s my Sunday!

We’ve started designing our new home. Both of my parents are at their 50’s so we couldn’t design our house with something too “contemporary.” The physical structure of the house is more like a Spanish type of house but the facade is basically American. How’s that?! Haha  Spanish in the inside, American in the outside. You might think we have lost our Asian side, but no! Actually, my room is totally Asian. I’m still waiting for my bed and stuffs before I design the whole room. It’s a matter of estimating the space I have and matching everything I would put in it.

The blessing will definitely be this month. It’s a grand blessing of 3 Filipino owned houses. Hehe

MANNY PACQUIAO: The Mexican Executioner

We’ve seen the bout between Pacqiuao and Diaz yesterday through Pay-per-View. Foods + beer/sodas + friends = fun!

TV Reviews

WIRELESS

I bought a new Linsys-N router. It’s been a month now since we disconnected our AT&T high speed internet. I like AT&T but it has already been a month and I called them like 5 x but no one could help me. They would just transfer me from one tech to another. I talked to my father and told him that if they couldn’t get us connected in a week, I’m done with them. We ended up with Comcast. Honestly, now, I think this one’s better. Hehehe

CHERRY BLOSSOMS

I bought a jar and cherry blossoms at PIER 1. That shop is like World Market but it has more Asian stuffs. :)

Shot Ain’t Workin’ - Ces Drillon

Yeah, I got flu shot about 3 months ago as policy of the hospital I’m working in. Now, guess what? I have a flu! Hahaha I have to keep going. I still have work tomorrow. Geez! My dad started all these! I’m taking my meds round the clock just to keep it from getting worst. I’d get well soon, promise. Haha

Hey, has anyone of you seen the last match between the Celtics and Lakers? I was flabbergasted seeing Lakers meeting their doom! Haha I’m a Laker’s fan. It doesn’t matter if they win or lose. It’s still a good game.

Update on my Korean friend, he got his ticket yesterday. He’s going to UK, Spain and Germany. He really loves to travel. I made a joke on him one time. I told him, instead of meeting in Korea someday, why don’t we meet in Paris? Hahaha Oh yeah, he’s flight is on June 30, two days after his Birthday. Any idea on what a Korean guy would like for his Birthday? Please please please email me.

-NO RANSOM POLICY-

Ces Drillon (ABS-CBN) reporter was set free by the AS. Kelan? What happened to the “no ransom policy”?

dR@!n3d

I’m so damn tired but I’m still picking up an extra shift. I was assigned in 3 south (Cancer unit) for the last couple of days. I’m telling you it was more like a psych unit. Confused people were getting out of bed here and there pulling their lines and tubes out. We just couldn’t finish our stuffs! I need more than a can of energy drink to boost me up and coffee isn’t working either. See, I’m drained plus I’m dosing off! Those were two of my worst days ever! Haha Thank God I was able to get through all that. I’m off to work, I’ll post again tomorrow morning. Bye!
