Drama Marathon

It’s so funny what boredom could actually cause. I’ve finished my fave series in Comcast On Demand [ CSI, NCIS, Desperate Housewives, Numb3rs, Bridezillas etc.] in 3 days. Haha Now, I don’t have any choice but to stick with Filipino and other Asian dramas. Hahaha Yeah I’m doing it alternately, TV and laptop. I’m not really a Kapamilya but I’ve been watching most of their series like “Precious Heart Romances,”" Kambal sa Uma, “”Tayong Dalawa ,” “Only You” and “May Bukas Pa.” I know, I know, their stories are predictable and “jologs” but there’s something about it that makes me want to watch it again. Haha

Have you seen Bridezillas on WeTV? Try searching it on Youtube and you’ll definitely hate how brides become wild before their weddings. hahaha

103 F Today

Oh yeah, it’s so freakin’ hot today! I’ve spent half of my day lying on the couch watching TV. I just don’t wanna move. I just feel like I’d be adding up more heat when I move an inch. Hahahaha Anyway, when my sissy got home with her bf Bryan. We ate together and I had my afternoon coffee. Haha I know that’s weird but I was just craving for it. The heat plus the stress of not being able to maximize my vacation just makes me feel so frustrated. I hate whining but that’s just what I did.

I’ve suddenly thought of printing the pics that we’ve taken on our hike last week but we needed a printer.

Our first stop was at Costco to look for a Photoshop software. We went there ‘coz it’s cheaper but then I was thinking of just buying a Photoshop CS4. We went to Best Buy but we didn’t find one. Then, we went to Staples and finally found what we were looking for. But, it was worth $600. I don’t think it’s worth it for a hobby. I could still use my CS2 so I’d rather stick with it and just buy a new printer which is only like $50 to $99. I also got an Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 . Yey! So, I got everything I need.

As soon as we got home, I’ve figured out that I still have lots of stuffs to do. Hehe I couldn’t do it in the morning because of the heat. I had to water the plants and take off the weeds which I really have to do or I’ll be dead when my parents come back from their vacation. Then, my sis, Bry and I have played with our Ginger. Haha

Now, here I am typing this blog.

Pains of Summer

It’s frustrating that I don’t get to enjoy my vacation. Probably just half of it. The rest is awful. Yeah, awfully hot, painful and boring. I wake up so late in the morning and sleep so late at night just basically letting the day drift by and not doing anything. There’s nothing much to do around here. I’ve been spending of my time watching movies and, of course, surfing the net until my computer heats up.

The Proposal etc.

Two of my faves, Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are in the new movie “The Proposal.” Ti Chen came here yesterday, and together with my movie buddies [Bry and sis], we’ve watched the movie. Ryan and Sandra are soooooooo HOT! While watching the film,  we could hear young girls giggling at our back. We’ve heard  “awwww’s,” “ooohhhh’s” and “aahhhhh’s.” LOL  It doesn’t look like they spent a lot on the movie but the story is okay. Yeah just okay.

After watching the movie, we had dinner at Tahoe Joe’s  Steak House. We had Prime Rib and Tahoe T-bone for the main dish and Mountain Mashers for the side dish. Sometimes, even a 10 oz. lean meat is really hard to finish. (^.~)v We had hard time getting the food down so we went straight to Adventure Park. First stop, DDR {dance dance rev.} nyahaha Then, we’ve played basketball and car race. Not so fun but just enough to spend the day.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Did you miss the Autobots? How about Optimus Prime and Bumblebee? It wasn’t too long ago [in 2007?] when the first “Transformers” was released in the big screen. I didn’t watch the first movie because I thought I’m not going to enjoy it as much as I did when it was on TV [as cartoons]. Hahaha Yes, I’ve watched the series when I was a kid. I’ve never really set my expectation high in these kind of films until I’ve seen the latest “Terminator.” I thought I should probably give this a shot. I was, honestly, not that enthusiastic before the movie. When I’ve seen the first few parts, I was drawn to it. Like the “Terminator,” you’re like in a different world [so much for my imagination]. The theater where we’ve watched the movie was full, as expected on first day of show. When a theater is full, you would normally see random people standing here and there going to the restroom or buying some snacks anytime in between. But, I was surprised that none of us [viewers], as far as what I had observed, stood up. Everyone was “in” to the movie.

Caught in the Middle

My sis, Bry and I went to buy another sunglasses yesterday. There was only one saleslady looking after the shop. We were enjoying fitting their sunglasses unaware of something bad to happen. When I’ve finally chosen the glasses that I like, I went to the counter to pay.  The Mexican saleslady said,”This is polarized. Do you know what polarized is?” I love sunglasses as much as my dad do so I know about it but for some reason I hesitated at that time if I should let her explain what “polarized” is or not. In the end, I said, “No,” and so she explained. Everything was over when I heard someone say, “Ang suplada!” I turned on my back and saw a Filipina with her husband [the way I see them, I could tell that they're those Filipinos who have been here for a long time now]. I smiled at her but I’ve felt the tension. When I looked at her she started explaining to me. She said,”Kanina pa yan eh. I was trying to approach her but she made me feel like I’m stupid [referring to an incident that happened earlier]. Minsan pag alam nilang Pilipino ka ginaganyan ka nila eh. Akala nila you’re stupid.” I don’t know what to do. Everything started when she called the saleslady “suplada” because it’s a Spanish word and the ate that I’ve met was looking at her so I know that she had figured out that we were talking about her. Then ate started talking to the saleslady and told her,” I know you’re just doing your job but I was offended by what you did. You made me feel like I’m stupid.” Then the saleslady apologized, “I’m sorry for making you feel that way.” I have to admit that the saleslady was bit off by how she approachesd the customers but I also understand that, by that time, she ’s probably tired. Standing there the whole day and entertaining every customer for what they need isn’t easy. Plus, the shop sell quite expensive glasses and could seriously be easily stolen ‘coz she’s alone in the shop. I couldn’t blame the Filipina either if she felt that way. I had this odd smile on my face while that was happening like I seriously don’t wanna get involved.

When I don’t get enough sleep…

1. I look like a puffer fish. Haha For some reason, my face swells, my eyes are like those of a zombie and I crave for something sweet. Yes, you could tell, see my pics below. Haha I didn’t get enough sleep when we went to LA. That was awful.

2. I prefer laying down on our sofa and stare on the ceiling. I don’t stay in bed and try to get more sleep.

3. I crave for caffeine which I’m trying to avoid now. I’ve been trying to switch to green tea. It’s working well so far but I have to drink it with milk/creamer.

4. My iPod will play non-stop. Yeah, same playlist  would go on again and again or I’ll just choose one song and that will play again and again.

5. I daydream. Nyahahaha I have a lot of what if’s running in my mind. I’ve mentioned about becoming a writer or director before, right? LOL

6. I blog boring stuffs like this. Hahaha

7. I bug my classmates , co-workers and friends [text them though I know they wouldn't reply]. Hahaha

8. I clean until I get tired.

Midnight Blue Notebook

I’ve been waiting for this laptop for weeks. It’s a customized Studio 1737 from Dell. I was able to personally talk to a Dell agent and told him everything I wanted from my budget to the softwares that has to be installed. I know it’s not possible to get everything but he has given me options for possible alternatives. I told him I needed something that I could use 24/7 non-stop, widescreen HD, max media storage, web cam [very important; hahahaha] and good security. I have a 2 page list of specs just in case something turned woohoo. Haha He was really nice and accommodating.  I gave my Sony VAIO to my li’l sissy. It’s hard for me to let go of that laptop ‘coz it’s really nice and it has a sentimental value. kkkkkkk It was the very first notebook I bought with my very own earnings.  Hehe

Midnight Blue – I’ve chosen this color because it looks so neat and formal.

I had to purchase the bag separately but it almost has the same color.

What’s wrong?

What’s wrong with these people? If I miss them they won’t show up, if I don’t feel like talking to them, they would just pop up like mushrooms! ^^
